What’s the REAL Name of Jesus? The Difference Which Makes No Difference

What’s the REAL name of Jesus? There seems to be some very unnecessary controversy about this currently. The name came from Joshua in the Old Testament and was adapted to different languages and alphabets over more than a thousand years — but it wasn’t done recklessly or carelessly! In this video I go over Yehoshua (Hebrew) to Yeshua (Hebrew and Aramaic) to Iesous (Greek) to Iesus (Latin) to Jesus (as we use in English and other European languages). There’s some images of my own Greek and Hebrew Old and New Testaments along the way, but I try to make sure that you don’t need to be fluent in Greek or Hebrew or Latin. Ultimately, though, he knows when we mean him when we call to him!

New Video: Best Book On the Authority of the Believer You Never Heard Of

Do you want to read more about the delegated authority that you have as a believer in Christ? A friend of mine recently updated a classic work on the subject. In this world we may encounter spiritual evil, so it’s necessary for us to know the authority that we have in Jesus when we encounter that.
